Re: Running ADP Soft Panel on X2 display
Hi Sergei, We do have the ability to transfer ADP projects to the X2 Panel through iX developer. You can export the project in ADP to an iX project from the file menu. If you would like to discuss your needs and application a bit we would be happy to work through them with you. Please reach out to u...

Re: How to capture a button raise edge for Vigor VB controll
Hi Raoleon, I suspect that this issue would require a more hands on interaction and remote support session. But, as a general rule any tag that transitions from false to true will have a rising edge just as a tag or bit that transitions from true to false will have a falling edge. I wonder if you ha...

Re: Illegal functions s 0 n 2
Hi karthik, We see this very frequently when an incorrect datatype is being used and what you write crosses a threshold. For example, in modbus you have a controller that has 16 bit registers and you try to force the write of a 32 bit register into it. This only happens if the controller does some k...

Re: Keyboard keys change property in the editor.
We have seen this happen before but it is very rare. I believe this has been corrected in later versions of iX and it only seems to happen when switching between screens and scripting. We are still looking to pinpoint the exact circumstances that cause this so please report it to the Beijer electron...

Hi saeedjalvand,
I think it would be best to reach out to support directly for this one. But, in general instructions can be found in each driver on the best way to connect to each controller. Please refer to this post to see how to access them.

Re: Documentation for webbrowser component.
Hi andreasfridh,
Yes the best documentation is found by pressing F1 in iX. There is a folder in the help called "Web Server" that is a great place to get a run down of how the server works as well as the APIs.

Hi frzw, I first would ask you to verify the COM port wiring. Your comment about seeing only one physical port is something that causes a lot of confusion. Even though we only have 1 DB9 it facilitates 3 Com ports on differing wires. For example, RS232 uses pins 2rx,3tx,and 5gnd. For a complete list...

Re: [question]iX HMI database
Hi EngFei, Our HMIs can be a great cog in any SCADA system. Because we work with so many different manufactures we tend to be a pretty good aggregation point. As far as the internal DataLogging, our HMIs use SQLite. We can pass data to another SQL server but it requires a piece of software to act as...

Re: Do-more PLC with a iX T7A communication
Hi mike.b,
AutomationDirect can be tricky as they outsource the PLC manufacturing. In general you will want to refer to the "Koyo" section of our drivers and determine which of the three options there best suits your specific PLC.
