Re: D sub relay with IX TAxxx
Hi,
I have attached an example project, but it's made in iX 1.30. The script in the example should work in latest iX as well.
iX Scripting - How to control the RTS signal in COM1 Controlling the D-sub relay \ external buzzer:
An external buzzer can be utilized by using the so called D-SUB relay.
It's a relay housed in a 9 pin d-sub, that's activated by the RS-232 port RTS signal ( pin 7 )
This is an example of how to control the RTS signal in a COM port by using script. The reason for this example to give an example of how to use the external D-Sub Buzzer and D-Sub Relay for Exter together with iX.
When the startup screen is loaded an init of COM1 is made. (script) Control of the RTS signal is made using the two buttons (script)
