Hi all,
I have developed a program using ixDeveloper 2.0 for use in 13 T10A screens.
For backup reasons I have bougth a dongle so I can use the program on a PC also.
I have changed the target type to: PC.
After that I have exported the project (Project - Export) and copied the created the directory and all the files to the target PC (By means of Teamviewer file sending. The target machine is 3000km away).
On the target PC I have the ixDeveloper software installed (as on my laptop)
When I run the build executable on my laptop it runs fine (besides the communication error with the Controller of course). When I run the executable on the target machine I get an exception.
The log file refers to coredll.dll wich cannot be found.
When i search the forum I find a reference to coredll.dll being a Windows CE file.
But i have changed the target to PC!
Who can help me?
Thanx in advance.
Change of target type
Re: Change of target type
I would only expect that if you tried to run an exported T10A application on a PC. Applications targeting a PC that are exported should not reference coredll.dll.

Re: Change of target type
Hi Ron,
Me too!
First i changed the target type to PC.
I kept the resolution of 640x480.
I did a rebuild, without any errors. After that I did the export.
I tried the same thing with the ixDeveloper environement on the target machine. The result is the same.
In the added RAR-file You find the crashreport.txt and log.log files.
Add this moment I am trying to run the program on the target machine WITHOUT the dongle. I have the dongle in Holland and will place it on the targetmachine during my next visit in Januari.
Thanx for your help.

Re: Change of target type
If this is reproducible, can you send me a copy of the application source code? (private message should work) Are you using the latest iX Developer 2.0.463?

Re: Change of target type
Hi Ron,
Yes it IS reproducable.
I am using the 2.0.356.0 version. I allways get nervous installing new versions of programming software while commissioning projects.
I will send you the project by PM.
