Projects on Network Drives

Strange error, anyone else see this? I can save/work on projects stored on network drives without trouble but they don't simulate. Works a-ok from my local drive. It doesn't really give any errors, best way I can describe it is nothing happens. The button responds, looks like it's about to launch, and then just doesn't. No errors, nothing. After a little bit I can click the button again to launch the simulation.

iX Developer projects not be opened from network drives. There are often permission issue which prevent iX Developer from properly accessing the files on network drives. iX Developer also reads/writes lots of data when it compiles projects, which make projects opened from network drives compile very slowly.
