USB Access in FTP

Post by KurtisR »

Does anyone know if I can access the files stored on the connected USB drive via the FTP connection?

I am able to connect to the FTP server running in the Panel (QTERM-A12) but the directory listing is blank.

Any info would be great.
Thanks,

The only way I know to do that would be to copy the files from the USB stick on to the directory where the FTP access is. This topic may help you with that.

The path where the FTP files are stored is.
"\FlashDrive\Project\Project Files"

Thank you for your reply.

I wanted to use the USB storage for saving trending data so i would not be consuming the panel storage. Your reply would indicate that this is not feasible. I can use the backup to USB function in IX but i would have to then copy the files to the FTP accessible directory - which is in the panel memory. Is this correct?
