Hi,
I'm a new user on iX developer coming from E-designer and trying to get used to this new environment

When I'm arranging a lot of different lines and objects on a screen the function that automatically snaps things into place to align them with surrounding objects is great sometimes but I find it extremely hard to work with most of the time. It doesn't want the same things as I do... So how can I disable it? Couldn't find any info on this in the manual or elsewhere.

Press the alt key, then press the left mouse button to move your object. The object will no longer click into position.
