Is it possible to change the sampling rate of a trend viewer?

I have a trend viewer displaying a single tag value over a 30 second period that I would like to update every 200ms.

You can change the Time Range and the Major/minor ticks. That will change the way it looks on a screen. There is no way to change the sampling rate, only the way it looks on the screen.
