Import tags settings question

Totally new to the software but wondering something about the important tags.

Under the import file columns preview I need to manually select each one to be what I want it to import. Is there some sort of config file or something I can edit, so it always defaults to the tags in a certain order so I can setup all of my excel spreadsheets in that way and have an easier time importing them?

You can setup the excel file with a column named: GlobalDataType

Then use the following data types:

Code: Select all

BOOL
DEFAULT
FLOAT
INT16
STRING
UINT16
INT32
UINT32
DATETIME
DOUBLE
BIT

Then when the import happens it will automatically assign the datatype
