Touch screen lost

Hello all,
we are developing an application with iX 2.0 (pc version, Win 7) where a single touch-screen display is switched between two different pc's via KVM switcher. PC1 is running an iX application, PC2 is running a different application.
Sometimes, when the touch-screen is switched from PC1 to PC2, and then back to PC1, the iX application doesn't see the touch-screen anymore. But in this case the touch-screen keeps working under Windows, i.e. the touch is recognized by Windows but not by iX. Does it make sense? I thought the touch-screen was accessed through Win, so I would expect it to work both with Win and iX or with none of them. Is any parameter to be tuned to avoid this problem, or can the failure of the touch be detected and reset from iX?
Thanks,
Federico.
