T12C with Panasonic PLC. Button tags don't work

I am connecting to a Panasonic FP-X PLC via RS-232. Communications appears to be successful, as I do not have any error messages.

I am able to get the T12C to read the status of I/O and data registers.

The button tags on the screen do not seem to be working. I've used the touch interface as well as a USB mouse, and neither seems to work. I know that the touchscreen is not damaged, since I have been able to successfully create button tags for screen navigation, but those use native Beijer screen controls, so there is no need for the PLC to be involved.

I created the attached HMI program for testing purposes. Everything was left at the default settings other than to configure the COM port (COM1, 115.2 kbps, 8, odd parity, 1 stop bit).

This program works as expected when I load it into a T10A HMI. When I transform it and load it into a T12C, the button tags stop working. I've also created a "native" T12C version of this same program, and that doesn't work either.

Any insight or assistance would be appreciated. I've been trying to debug this for two days now.

It's a bit of a stretch, but could this problem be OS related? Is it possible to refresh/reload the Win7 OS in the field? Or does the unit need to be returned to Beijer?

I'm not certain if it's Win 7 or Win embedded.

Just updating this thread with the solution.

Turns out that it was a firmware issue. Beijer supplied me with an updated Runtime for the T12C. After updating the runtime, everything started working as expected.
