ABCDEF keyboard instead of QWERTY keyboard

We have a T10A and in development it correctly shows the US layout virtual keyboard we selected in settings.
However, on the panel itself we get an ABCDEF keyboard.

Anyone have a solution?

We understand that this is a very old post. For customer keyboards, you will need to make it from the ground up using a popup screen and buttons where you concatenate the "keystrokes" together.
