Error during transfer over VPN

Hello,

I transfer a project to an iXT4A over a VPN-connection.
When it transfers the beckhoff_ads_symbolic_pre2ce6.dll.ce6 file, I get a timeout error. If I transfer the project locally over ethernet it works.
What could be the reason?

There are always latency (delays) in long distance communications.
Its gets worse with longer distance and the more places the connections gets routed through.

You need to increase the timeout setting in IX Developer.
It is also better to have your laptop on Wired Ethernet as opposed to WiFi when downloading applications to a remote panel.
