Hi all,
I have to solve this problem with iX Develper. In my project I have a couple of variable from an old Omron C200H. Some of them are BCD coded so I've created a Read/Write Expression script to converto from and to Integer (It's a pity that iX does'nt support BCD data type!!!). This solution worked fine except for those variables that needs to be scaled according to the gain factor. If i add a gain factor the result is always zero. I would apply the factor in the epression or duplicate a tag and add some script but since there is a specific field to handle this function I want to know if it's a limitation of iX or maybe I am not doing things in the proper way.

We understand that this is a very old post.Unfortunately iX doesn't support BCD but we could always look into some scripting solutions to get the gain to work.
