Copy paste problem

Post by jcjelektro »

Hello

If i Copy/paste, or just move some Group boxes including about 10 input fields and a few buttons, in to the same page, and run the project the input fields and buttons become inactive. I can't input to them any more?

Some times i get it to work, if i copy/Paste only the fields, but sometimes not.
Now i have 2 pages with about 256tags there don't work :-(

It's very confusing

I have found the problem.
I have made a new project to discover the fault.
The groupbox is NOT just a Frame. The transparent background Block's for the user inputs!
If it's moved to the Background it all worked again.

Can somebody explain, how to use groupboxes, please?
When I put a groupbox, the objects are hidden behind. How to make them visible? Arranging them backwards or forwards, as well as an option "no fill", did not help.

The groupbox doesn't current work for Windows CE HMI targets, only on PC targets. It is a Windows standard control and the documentation for it can be found on Microsoft's website.

Thank You Mark. Is it possible to group items on HMI using different tools (controls)?

If you select multiple controls and right click, it will bring up a menu that has a Group option in it. That allows you to group objects together and move them as a single unit.
