Danfoss FC51 Modbuss RTU

Post by selcukmola »

Hi guys,
my first message since I register. Sorry to not helping you efficiently while. I need help now.

I am trying to communicate X2Base HMI with Danfoss FC51 inverter via RS485 at Comm Port 4 in HMI. But not going further then Illegal Address Station xx or Illegal Function station xx.
Danfoss manual shows that (attached file communication settings starts at 71 to 82 pages) parameter registers addresses 10 x par. number and at another chapter says -1.
I assume out of it if you want to access parameter 3.20 you need to reach [(10 x 320)-1]+40000. I tried 40320 beijer gave me illegal address station 1 and I tried 40319 illegal function station 1

most combinations of beijer communication settings have been tried by me. But couldnt find any solution. If anybody have any idea will be
appreciated. Thanks in advance.

I suggest you first to try modbus comminucation with a modbus master prgoram like Modbus Poll.

Then you get the correct register adresses of the drive and apply to IX developer.

Thanks

The coil table is on page 74. This page lists the available coils (10000) you can read. Note, based on your image, you set the RTU master to start with 0-based addressing, so coil 01 (Table 8.14) is addressed with 10000, coil 02 is addressed with 10001, and so on. The registers are listed on page 75. Same story here with the registers as with the coils, since you have 0-based addressing PLC register 40001 would be addressed on the X2Base with 40000.

It seems to me you want the word in coils (addressing based on X2Base) 10048-10063.
