Hi
I'm new to IX Developer and I've been having an issue.
I can't connect my laptop to my HMI, I'm getting "Unable to receive the response from UdpClient."
- Do I need a crossover ethernet cable (I'm using the standard one)?
- I have opened TCP and UDP 9999 ports, do I need to do anything else on the laptop side?
Thanks

Re: Unable to receive the reponse from UdpClient.
Hi fcunha,
You shouldn't need a Crossover cable, most modern network cards can switch automatically between crossover/straight-through. But with laptops, we have noticed that turning wireless card off should resolve this issue.
If you still have connection issues, you may need to verify that the network card is on the same subnet as the HMI.
If you're not familiar with Subnetting, if your HMI's ip is 192.168.0.10, with a subnet mask of 255.255.255.0 your laptop's network card IP should use the same subnet mask and match the first 3 octets, 192.168.0.*.
