Hello,
I am working on a project that will require an interface between my PLC (Siemens S7-1215C) and a GE Fanuc RX3i for some basic data exchange. I know that there is no problem with the iX talking to the S7 on Ethernet (Profinet), but I have no experience with the Fanuc and most likely will not have the chance to get any until the system is installed and I am commissioning it (far from home). I would like to be able to setup to either use the iX T15C for data exchange or use the S7 as a Modbus slave.
From what I have read, it looks like the GE TCP/IP via SRTP driver should allow me to connect to the Fanuc. I would be grateful if anyone can confirm this with their own experience before I go on site. This would be my preferred solution.
Regards,
Matt

Re: iX T15C communicate with GE Fanuc RX3i
From the Developers:
The GE Fanuc Ethernet driver is only tested on the GE 90 series and with the CMM321 Ethernet Interface module. Since we don't have any Pac RX3i series controller or the ETM001 module we can't say if it's working.
However, according to one of our distributors, which also is a distributor of GE Fanuc, our GE Fanuc ethernet driver works with the Pac RX3i series, but this is nothing that we have tested by ourselves.
