Using more then one MODICON TCP Slave Controller

Post by Lindenmaier »

Hello

I am using the MODICON driver Version 4.16.02 on a ix T15BR Display. I am trying to install two Modbus slave controllers using different TCP ports. As soon as I have installed a second slave controller none of the two controllers are working.

Is it possible to use more than one modbus slave controller?

Lindenmaier,

Unfortunately this will not work. Even though you are adding multiple slaves drivers there is only one slave (the panel). You cannot do it in this way. You could have one of your two masters write to a different group of registers than the other and keep them both connected. If you provide a bit more detail about your application we may be able to come up with a better solution.
Best regards,
