Is there a setting to hide the "comm error window" when there is no device connected to the Modbus slave driver?

Hi Bob,

In the Modbus Master driver there is an option to Hide Comm Error under the 'Advanced' section of the Modbus Master driver settings. Unfortunately the Modbus Slave driver doesn't have that option. Which means that there is no way to hid the comm error when using the Modbus Slave driver.

What are the command options to the driver?

Simply, I don't want the comm error window shown because nobody is connected to the device/driver.

Hi Bob,

In information Designer 1.52 in the Modbus Slave Driver options you can try typing in XDNCW in the "Command Line Options" text box like is shown in this picture. This command is being phased out in newer drivers.
