The HMI would need to be connected to a router or a switch that is used to communicate outside of the Local Area Network. Also using DHCP for the panel's IP address is a good practice, to let the router or switch assign an IP to the panel.
We recommend involving you're local IT Team in this process, that way they can be aware of all devices that have outside network access.
