This tutorial will be addressing how to create a custom "Component Library" group that can be distributed to other developers with pre-configured object settings or graphics. For this example, I will create set of objects and graphics with a St. Patrick's theme.
Create a new category. Right click on "ComponentLibrary" and select "New". Rename the category. Select the new category, right click and select "Rename". For this tutorial, I've created a screen with a set of themed objects. Place a single object into the new component library group. Select the Image object, hold down the "Ctrl" key on your keyboard and drag to the "Component Library" area. The new object in your component group will retain all property settings including tags and actions.
Put a grouped set of objects into the library. Select all objects on the screen, right click and select Group in the menu. Drag this group into the component library. Placed selected script into the component library. To distribute your library files, go to "C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Documents\Beijer Electronics AB\iX Developer 2\ComponentLibrary\" and copy the directory of your new group to be placed at the same location on another developers PC.
