Serious Screen Display Issue

Post by Brian »

Using iX Developer V2.0 SP1 with Qterm A12.

This is a "new issue" that I had not seen before installing SP1.

Some of my screen navigation buttons seem to have taken on actions of their own. Buttons with Previous Action are going back more than one screen. My "Home Button" sometimes goes to the previous screen and sometimes to the home page. When I open one of my screens using an Open Screen animation, it opens, closes and then goes to the previous screen from whence I started.

I have examined all switches for more than one action without discovering anything out of sorts. The object list does not show and "hidden" or "unknown" objects.

I have deleted and re-entered switches without sucess.

All my navigaion buttons are on template screens. Is this an issue?

Where can I start to look to resolve this issue. Is there a limit to the characters in a screen name? Can a screen name contain an "underscore".

Resolved: Serious Screen Display Issue

Since I could not solve this issue logically, I copied the pertinent objects to a new screen, deleted the problem screens, renamed the new screen as the old and then compilied and downloaded.

Also, quit using template for screen direction on the problem screen.

Now OK. Must have been something stuck to the bottom of my shoe, or in this case, to the screen.

OK for now.

The only thing I can think of is that you might have had a Screen action. Other customers have had similar problems and it has always been an action associated with either a Screen Closed, Screen Closing, or Screen Opened event.
