Control power LED from Script

Is it possible to change the state of the power LED via scripting?

I would like to, if possible, have the LED either blink or turn red when my script is pulling log data from our controller.

You can control the LEDs by altering the system tags associated with that LED. The link points you to the location of the system tags.

You just need your script to change the value of the system tag that controls the LED.
