Audit trail doesn't log tags

Post by val_pilats »

Hello! Could You please describe how does Audit trail work? Does it write only changes to tags made through IX project?
Let me explain my case.
I log some tags through Audit trail. If I change tag value through project (set value by keyboard), it logs fine. But if PLC by itself changes the same tag, then Audit trail skips it.
I need log ay changes.
Thanks.

Auditing means you are logging user interactions. If the PLC changes the value of a tag, the audit will not log it. If you want to log tags, you should use the data logger instead. That will log all changes to the tag, but it will not tell you what changed the tag's value.
