Unable to import E-Designer project into iX Developer

Post by Transistor »

iX Developer 2.10
E-Designer 7.1

I select the .MPA file for import to an iX T12B. I get twenty or so
  • Conversion discarded for ___
and three
  • No converter for element <Driver>
See attached image.

Should the software import an E-Designer 7.1 project?

What do I do next?

Many thanks.

Tech support told me to
- open the project in e-Designer,
- change to E1101 and save.
- import into iX Developer, in my case selecting the iX T12B as target.
- You also need to copy any graphic symbols you created over to the new project folder. See below.

That worked but it doesn't do a great job. I'm going to have to resize every piece of text and redo all the buttons. (That's as far as I've got, for now.) You will also be prompted to select the graphic file for each graphic encountered during import. My project used grey, green and red LED graphics over a hundred times and I was prompted to select each one!
