Read parameters of Controllers

Hello!
I`m using panel XT7A.
I whant to read (by script) the name of the port of Controller (COM1, COM2 ...) and display this name to one of Screen.
How can I do it? Also, how can I read other parameters?

And, the next quations, how can I change some of parameters, for example - baud rate (speed).
