Project Conversion From One Panel To Another Within iX Developer

Open your project in iX, and select the Project tab -> Settings -> Target Type and change it to your new HMI model and press “OK”:


You will then be shown this dialog, click Back Up Project


and give the zip file a descriptive name and select a path to store it, click OK then click Yes the previous window.


You may get 2 more prompts, I usually click yes to the Resize Content:


And no to the Aspect Ratio:


Then iX will make the needed adjustments to your project and once its finished, you can download the project to your new HMI.

And what will hapen on Lock Aspect Ratio= Yes?
Whose aspect ratio is meant here? The entire screen's or the screen objects'?

The aspect ratio is referring to he objects on the screen.

Meaning if you developed objects in a 4:3 aspect ratio, and move to a 16:9 ratio and select "Yes", the objects will keep their 4:3 aspect ratio
