Alarm view - Font size

Post by sbmadsen »

Hi

Is it possible to change the font size through a script on an AlarmViewer during runtime ?

Currently the font size is fixed through the 'project settings' when you build the project. It would be nice to implement a button that could dynamically update the font size on the AlarmViewer to emulate the zoom functionality on the old e-series displays.

Kindly regards

Hi Soeren,

The Font size property is not accessible through a script. Which means that it can not be changed at run time.

Hi

That confirms what I found examining the scripting possiblities.
Would it be possible to make a feature request to enable font manipulation through scripting ?
This would enable us to make a zoom feature on some of the views we have on the HMI.

Kindly regards

I will add this to the feature request list.

You might be able to work around this by having multiple Alarm Viewer objects with different font sizes. You can change the Visibility of them at run-time of put them on separate screens.
