Mirrored gauges and multiple needles

Post by motley »

Is it possible to create quarter and half gauges in mirror formation, for example one half gauge from the 9 o'clock position clockwise to the 3 o'clock and the other half gauge would be the from 3 to 9 (clockwise).

Also can a gauge display more than one needle to cope with left and right engines for example.

Thanks,

Chris

You can not 'mirror' a quarter gauge. But you can make a half gauge needle go left to right. To do that you need to change the start and end angle. Gauges can not have more than one needle.

You can display multiple needles on the "same" gauge by placing a second gauge on top of your first gauge with the same appearance, size, etc. and a different needle color. Then, under the "General" tab, uncheck "Scale" and check "Transparent" (this hides all but the needle from the second gauge).

To "mirror" the gauge, follow Mark's suggestion and toggle "Clockwise" under "General" tab (this makes the needle go right to left vs. left to right).
