Image transparency

Post by motley »

Apologies if this has been asked before...

I am trying to use images with transparency on a T12B panel.

I have created an image with transparency (exported from Corel Draw as a png ) which correctly displays in iX Dev 2. However when simulated or downloaded to the panel the transparency disappears.

Can I do anything about this? Transparent overlays would be <really> useful.

Windows CE 6.0 doesn't support transparency in pictures. That is why when you simulate or download it to the terminal the transparency disappears. This is a limitation of the operating system and there is nothing that can be done about it besides using a HMI that runs Windows 7 like the TxC units.
